Wasatch Mountain's 36-hole championship complex hosts two of the most popular Utah mountain golf courses. The Mountain and Lake courses were carved from the mountain, canyons and native forest in this beautiful area. Summer temperatures are cool and wildlife is often seen here. Terrain is challenging on the mountain; more gentle around the lake.

Soldier Hollow, the newest Utah golf destination, offers a championship, 36-hole complex built on the mountainside above Midway. A part of gorgeous Wasatch Mountain State Park, Soldier Hollow was a major venue during the 2002 Winter Olympics. Two 18-hole courses — named the Gold and Silver courses — offer challenging play and amazing views of the Heber Valley.

The Homestead Resort offers an 18-hole championship mountain golf course designed by Senior PGA Tour player Bruce Summerhays, who lives in the area. The course is open for public play. Scenery is spectacular, with the towering Wasatch Mountains in the background. Trees border the fairways and greens. Creeks, ponds and fences keep things interesting here.
